Our own emotions can play tricky games on us. They can become an obstacle when we describe objectively all the physical pain and/or psychological suffering we are experience in the initial application. Remembrances of a hostile environment might incline us to write about sexual harassment and illegal discrimination instead of focusing on the medical side of the issues. They can even compel us to personally attack an OPM representative instead of focusing our attention in the denial errors.
